About Me

I am a freelance audio engineer and content producer with seven years experience in my field. I specialise in studio based audio production and I have gained vast experience in recording, producing and mixing, which allows me to offer a variety of audio based services. I am also the co-founder of Audio Factory, a production company that produces audio content for radio, television, film and new media.

My love affair with music began when I was fifteen, playing and writing in secondary school bands. I went on to college to study a BTEC National Diploma in Music technology gaining experience and learning more about audio production. Developing these skills allowed me to start producing music for a number of local artists and bands.

I graduated college with a double distinction BTEC National Diploma and I decided to continue with my studies by enrolling on an Audio and Music Production degree at the University of Buckinghamshire. Throughout my studies I built up a good contact base in the industry, building both professional relationships and friendships with musicians, engineers and fellow producers.

I graduated with a 1st class honours degree and since then I have been working on freelance assignments at my studio based in my hometown in South Somerset, England. It was there where I met local scriptwriter Arran Dutton, who I went on to start working with professionally.

In 2011, Arran and I produced a five-part radio comedy/drama with the help of actors from across the South West. The response to our production was extremely positive and we made the decision to found Audio Factory after we were approached by a number of local actors, writers and companies to produce other audio content. Our work has been broadcast on community radio stations and has been commissioned by a number of broadcasters, meaning that it will be made available to a wider audience in 2012.

When I’m not in the studio I work as a theatre technician giving me the ability to develop new skills in staging, lighting and live sound.
